GARTH Thomas Colin
Service Record

2nd Lieutenant 124707 of Kings Own Royal (Lancaster) Regiment 2nd Battalion

He lived at Towlyn, Annas Bank, Carnforth with his parents Christopher and Sarah Annie Garth (1921 census). When France surrended to Germany, the German forces now had access to Lebanon and Syria, meaning that another front could be opened. Due to the sensitivities of now fighting French soldiers in the Middle East the battles were heavily censored.

Thomas died in the Battle of Merdjayoun.
