1911 Census shows John was living with at 32 William Street Carnforth with his parents Peter (42) Hannah Elizabeth (40) and his siblings David (19), Jane (17), Tom (8) Peter (3). John is shown as a school boy and his father was an iron works labourer.
John Lee is also referenced on a stone at St Oswald’s Church alongside Lance Corporal Stanley Lee
