Private 1508 King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment 1st/5th Battalion. Son of Isabella Fleming of 30, Temple Road, Sale Moor, Manchester and the late Henry Fleming (formerly of Carnforth). The 1911 census shows him living with his parents and siblings Mary, Amy, Margaret, William and John at 55 Lancaster Road, Carnforth.
